Hi everyone... :)

If you got an email from livejournal yesterday - it was probably a private message from me. I put in personal requests asking folks on my friends' list to PLEASE help me to vote on something that means a lot to me.

So here's my 2nd public plea post -

I have been working to promote the Marriage Equality Comedy Web Series "Husbands" as a fan. At a time in my life where things are rather dark and not so hopeful - extended unemployment will do that - I find that trying to do good for a show I believe in ... helps.

Jane Espenson & Brad Bell (aka Cheeks) have created a GEM of a series. One that I want to see more of in future. A big part of getting that to happen is to grow the audience, but also to show that the audience it does have is willing to make their opinions known.

This week, California's Prop 8 was ruled UNCONSTITUTIONAL. That's a MAJOR step in Equal Rights for all. And it should be CELEBRATED.

So I'm asking - again - PLEASE - for me, for the cause - would you take a moment to VOTE for TeamHusbands as #webshow in the Shorty Awards?

Last night they held a LIVE launch via Ustream for "Husbands" the webseries! They interviewed Cheeks, Jane Espenson & Sean Hemeon.

During the show - they premiered the 1st of 11 episodes of "Husbands" - took fan questions and Skye call ins.

1) The reason I realllllllllllly ADORE this?!?!?! They totally talked about me!!!

2) The New Zealand Fans who took the day off for a "wedding" (HAHA!) to Skype in wearing wedding veils and "Husbands" logo t-shirts - they were so adorable!

(OMG Twilight Zone Weirdness Happened!!!)

The cast of Husbands did two radio interviews last night for LA Talk Radio. They had a scheduled interview with Sheena Metal - and I got to call in! (Lawd, my accent....sigh) and talk with them. Which was cool.

Then things got.... weird! Right as they were leaving, the DJ for the next show asked them to stay for another interview. What's weird about that?

1) The next show is a Psychic discussion show. (Wait, stay with me!) - the original guest cancelled last minute.
2) The show's psychic is named Rebecca. (Not really weird yet.)
3) Rebecca talks to Cheeks first - and towards the end says she's getting something about "Jean...or...." - Cheeks, who's just been told a couple minutes before this that his grandmother is watching over him, says his grandmother's cousin is ... "Ethel Jean". (WHAT???)
4) I lose my shit....lol - and here's why:

a - I'm named Rebecca, and I just talked to Cheeks for the 1st time live on the phone!
b - His surprise interview is with a Psychic named Rebecca.
c - Ethel Jean?!?!?!? - Is my mother's name!

5) I'm in shock, but manage to glance down and see the time stamp for the exact end of Cheeks' portion of the interview - it's 10:13 PM EST.
6) My internet name is xof1013 (awwwwwwww!)
7) I tweet Cheeks to tell him about this - and he immediately replies to me - "O.M.F.G."
