Blow Them At The Moon...

Sooooo SOME of you - I really hope - are giving Charlie Hunnam's series "Sons of Anarchy" a try. It ROCKS! Sooooo damn hard....

Complete and total recommendation if you are looking for a new discovery.

Butttttttt - I had NOT heard Charlie's new big news!

Looking at this interview that he did with Carson Daly - which is always funny to hear Charlie's mixed accent - and at the very end they bring up a tidbit that shocked me.




Charlie has written a screenplay about Vlad the Impaler. (no no - stay with me) Yes, that Vlad the Impaler - inspiration for the Stoker's Dracula legend.

Even bigger news - he's sold it - to Brad Pitt's production company. Which IS producing it - with an $85 million dollar budget... THUD!

(Charlie would like a smaller role in it, btw - not the lead.)

Seriously - love "Sons of Anarchy" and am looking forward SOOO MUCH to seeing more of it - highly recommended, folks!

But it's got to be said - Charlie's accent has definitely uhm... blended over the years...lol. He does Jax's accent very well. But talking as himself, it's this odd mix of QAF, JAX and I don't know what!

There are moments when fandoms collide...

And then there are moments where you find yourself watching a diner scene from "Sons of Anarchy" - featuring a very TENSE and TESTOTERONE-LEADED confrontation between rival outlaw biker types... And you end up thinking WTFFFFFFFFF!!!

Because as fantastic and outside of himself as Charlie Hunnam is in this role (and MAN, it's a WORLD of improvement on his former roles when it comes to skill, accent, the look, etc.) - you just can't get over the fact that you're watching...

Vincent from Beauty & the Beast, Walter Skinner from The X-Files and Nathan Maloney from the UK Queer AS Folk - sitting at a table in a family restaurant talking about drugs, threatening each other with extreme violence, and wearing enough tats, denim and leather to make a bike fetishist orgasm on the spot...lol.

It's CRACK-TASTIC!!! hehe...
