And for your additional viewing pleasure, I give you attempt number two!!!
I seem to be on a run here with Aidan Gillen baddies, right? But then what's not to love about him looking gorgeous and menacing??? lol...

Title: "The Bitter End"
Song: Placebo
Vidder: Xof
Focus: Carver Doone from "Lorna Doone"
Star: Aidan Gillen, baby!!!
Dedication: To the man, himself.
Rating: PG
Format: .wmv
Length: 3:26 mins
File Size: 25.8MB
Theme: Carver Doone - a man obsessed with a woman who cannot love him, refuses to marry him and runs off with someone else...lol. But does he see that as a deterrent? Hell no! This is a bad guy who'll follow his obsession to its and his own "bitter end."
Editor's Note: The sole reason to watch "Lorna Doone" is Aidan Gillen. (Well, there is the scenery too, luvly...lol.) So what if the movie's called "Lorna Doone," it's a Carver-fest all the way for me!!! The man is fantastic in this role, as always. And here you have all the pluses - period film, unrequited love, villainy, leather, guns and Aidan on a horse! hehe... Ohhh, and did I mention the part where he's rolling around in the mud??? Yowza!
I'd kiss his ring any day...lol.

If you want to have some more Aidan Gillen / Lorna Doone fun - I strongly recommend taking a look at this site - My Lady Lorna. You'll find tons of pics, information, artwork and wallpapers.
As to the video, I would very much welcome any and all comments. I'm so dang green at this, but I'm trying. And knowing someone actually watched it - let alone liked it; that means the world.
(If you missed the first vid - a tribute to Aidan Gillen's "Lord Rathbone" from "Shanghai Knights" - here is the link: "Walk The Walk")
Hugs
xof - Who's REALLY trying to stop myself from making an "Is that a gun in your belt or are you just THAT happy to see me?" Carver Doone pun.... Whoops, see there I go - somebody should stop me!

The one who was fangirling over your last vid because of seeing Aidan Gillen.
Again, I'm drooling. Duuude... I have to see this movie. Seriously.
LMAO! JESSE SPENCER! Hehehehe.
I just drooled over this vid. I loved the part at about 1:50... and then at around 2:00 with him pointing the gun at her and then running away. And then love the part at 2:36 with all the shooting and that. Real nice. And then of course, the end. Teh cool.
He always seems to get away, eh? :P
You picked a great song for it. It seems to fit very well.
Only thing I have to say is the transitions. You gotta be careful with the transitions. I'm just trying to be helpful here from a vidding stand point (I've been vidding since June 2002).
Too many transitions can ruin a vid. I loved this vid, but I personally think there were too many funky transitions. Having transitions here and there are fine, but too many is too many. Less is more :P
But anyways... The song really did set a mood for the vid.
I'm gonna have to watch it again :D

Do you mind if I friend you? :)

You can easily get a copy of it, esp since you are a member of the s/v list (yes?) - they have an active tape tree that provides members with copies of Aidan and Craig's other works, some of which are very rare and obscure. Give the list mommies a line, and they'll give you the details.
I'm glad you think it was drool worthy. Nice to know I did him well, beauty-wise. And thank you for noticing the timing...lol, I don't think alot of folks would search for those things. Most will probably take the overall effect for granted - like in music vids and movies.
As for the transitions - I agree I have to work at experimenting with the different choices. However, I used the more direct transitions here as a personal choice to try and build the abrasive, frantic and violent pace of alot of the scenes - in keeping with the song choice too. I hope you didn't find it too distracting from the vid itself. It wasn't my intent to annoy...lol.
And yes, you can friend me.
nite

Ha... Yea, Placebo is usually a love 'em or leave 'em group. I love 'em...lol, but I blame that on their appearance in the movie "Velvet Goldmine."
Yes, Aidan is soooo pretty...lol. So between him and the scenic view, it's all good.

I hate the fact that I can´t find any Aidan movies at the dvd rental shop. =(
By the way, I loved the video and I just noticed that I love Aidan´s way of walking! He looks hot, as always! ^^ lol

Hehe - yes, he is KNOWN for his walk...lol, in all its variations. Bless him.
Are you a member of the S/V list on yahoo? That's a great way to get his movies through their tape tree.

Well, whenever the bad guy is Aidan Gillen - I'd be hard pressed to root for anyone else...lol. But yeah, Carver was great.
Lord Rathbone was soooooooo great...lol. And Aidan kicked butt with the swordfight.
Glad you're enjoying them enough to watch again..lol.
