What makes a story good?	Uhmm, talent? lol
What makes a story bad?	Lack of talent, bad characterization, cheesy dialogue
The best author:	Stirring clear of active fandoms, because there's too many to name - I'd say Xanthe.
Why?	She's kick ass talented, I read her fics again and again, and she's the reason I started writing because she challenged me to give it a try.
The best story you've ever read:	Good lord, as if there were only one best.
The worst author:	George W Bush's speech writer.
Why?	I'm allergic to anything the man says. And so much of it has a fictional spin.
The worst story you've ever read:	Honestly don't remember - it was too bad to remember.
The best story you have written:	As a whole? Eek... "Gemini" - "Not Letting Go Series" - "Dream Series"
The worst story you have written:	I don't think my fics are "worst" catagories, but I did write dialogue early own that was rather sappy.
Do you leave feedback?	Yes, but not in every fandom - bad me.
Do you get feedback?	Yes, but there's always room for more...lol.
Do you have a favorite kink?	Me like-y, very much. Dom/submission w/o pain.
Does something squick you?	Anything involving rape, watersports or incest.
Is slash simply sex?	Hell, no. But then some slash is best with sex...lol.
Is slash a way of life?	Yep, over a decade does not lie.
How much time do you spend reading/writing?	Fucking loads, but I enjoy it - Plus I multitask all the time with other things.
Do you have RL friends who slash?	Yes
Have you made online friends through slash?	Absolutely
Do you think slash is just a phase?	Like being gay? lol - Yeah, a VERY LONG PHASE.
Could you simply stop slashing?	Nope - too much fun.

AUs	Some are ok/some are real crap.
ARs	Some are ok/some are real crap - (is there an echo in here?)
Crackfics	Haven't you heard? "Crack is whack." - Wtf is a crackfic?
Porn	Oh baby baby - please may I have some more?
Angst	Fantastic plot device. Unless its driven into the ground.
Mush	A little won't kill you, but alot kills the fic.
Love	Makes the world go round, but a hot one off can be just as good a read if written well.
Romance	In moderation, but not if it's totally out of character.
BDSM	Hello, can I get a hell yes!?!
Darkfics	Dark is ok, just need to read it with the lights on...lol.
Deathfics	NOT a favorite.
Non consensual/rape	Without a doubt, do not like. It just feels like a bad omen to spend time on these things.

RPS	Well, it's a guilty pleasure in which I don't often indulge. And some take it WAY TOO FAR.

First times	ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY - always a winner!!!
Established relationships	Yes, but mostly only if I've read the First Time Fic - like in a series.
Threesomes	More toys to play with, but they are a bitch to write.
m/m slash	This IS a slash survey, what the hell do you think? hehe
femmeslash	It's ok, but I don't seek it out. Too occupied with my current m/m fandoms.
Slashing a children's book/movie	Ewww...
Chanslash	As in Jacki? lol, no idea what this is...
Explicit sex	The best kind. I hate reading fics that wuz out on this.
The importance of charactarization	The life blood of a good fic.
OOCness	Nope, I read these fandoms for a reason. Why would I want Stuart to act like someone else but Stuart?
Canon	Very important starting place, and then you build from there.
Fanon	If you mean it's been written so much in fics that people start to believe it and repeat it - then it does seep in. Like kinks about Stuart's hair and Vince's tummy.
Cliches	Some are unavoidable, some are just laziness, some are fun to parody.
Supernatural	Depends on the fandom - if I'm reading about Vamps, hell yes.
MPREG	I've actually read a few - but there's not my bread and butter.
Wingfics	Huh?
Genderfuck	Meaning one or more switch genders? Uhmm, no. But crossdressing can be fun to play with...lol.
Crossovers	Are ok if done well, and if they involve characters I enjoy reading.
Group Slut Fics	Ha, nice title. But not really for me.
Incest	Not my thing.
May/December	Don't have an opinion.
Het pairings in a slash fic	NO! I'm not there to read that.
Plot	Think of it as the pulse of the story. It stops, the fic dies.
PWPs	I'm a big fan....
WIPs	Don't read until they are done, for the most part. Unless I can't control myself, and have to take a peak.
LJ fics and communities	Are just fine, but people - you need to have your fics archived too. Spread the love.
Mailing lists	Have given me so much, pleasure and pain. But the good very much overrides the bad.
Big Name Fans	???
Politics in a slash story	Uhm, no opinion - just not my thing.
Religion in a slash story	No what I'm there to read.
Wake up Gay	Come onnnn, be more imaginative than that. It's lazy.
And finally....
Your pet peeve:	Crappy writing, readers who don't feedback, intentional bashing of a characters characterization.
Your advice to new slashers:	Don't be afraid to try, get a beta, ask for advice, start small and build, don't be afraid to write sex - we all had to start somewhere.
Your slash wish list:	More of the same - times ten.
The best slash archive:	Not making a choice here - but since I'm an archivist there, the QAF Across The Pond Archive is a good choice.
The worst slash archive:	No idea....
