Ever feel like you're boring your friends... So you end up saying less and less.

Or a friend calls after a good while of absence and asks what's happening on your end, and you have absolutely nothing to say?

Yes, but that's usually because when people ask what I've been up to, the real answer is 'reading and writing stories about men having naughty, naked fun with each other, you?', which I don't actually want to say to everyone. *g*

I feel like that a lot of the time. Like everyone is going places and I'm the same person, doing the same things.

Then I think, it might be a small life, but is mine and if it's small it's because that's the way I'm living it.

Sorry, didn't mean to get so deep.

'having absolutely nothing to say'...that happens with my sister a lot. she's three years younger, married with three kids. me i'm single, etc. and it seems our worlds are getting farther apart. so after going over the weather, what her kids are up to there's not much for either of us to say our our personal lives...when i ask her about work all i get is 'it's work' and she doesn't really understand on the same wavelengh about my teaching stories (i teach like our mom did).

i don't think i bore my friends though as most of them are into fandoms and we can discuss alot about them.

Yeah, an old friend of mine is busy getting engaged, and getting a home, and all that good stuff, and when she asked me what I'd been doing, I just kind set there.

I hope you feel better soon, though.

*hugs*

All the bloody time, actually. My world is tinier than any. :(

Yeah, I feel like that a lot...because mostly all I have to talk about is QAF UK and US. I have a feeling most of the time that they just don't care...whatever I have to say is stupid because it's not something are overly into.

So, sometimes I just let them talk. I don't say anything, because I feel like such a boring person...like I have no real life or something.

But then, I come online and get to chat with fellow QAFers...and tend to feel so much better about it. I just think it's because I've moved on to something they can't quite grasp yet. But, hopefully things will get better in time, for both you and me, xof.

I do so hope things start changing for the good for you sweetie. I hate hearing you sound so depressed.

And, to add to your quote...""It was good enough for me." Stuart Alan Jones

I always thought that made it sound better...:D
