Because I wouldn't answer another meme, I thought I'd do this one instead:
Twenty random (totally) and out of order (completely) facts about me....
20 - I have green eyes.
19 - My first word was my mother's name.
18 - My best friend calls me Beverly, which is NOT my real name (long story)...
17 - I was once searched by the secret service at a political rally for Bill Clinton (hey, all of us down front were!)
16 - I drive a Taurus - it's not the car I'd want if I could choose, but it was what we could afford at the time. It's 12 years old.
17 - Despite having a doctor for a grandfather, a lawyer for a father and a writer for a mom, my handwriting is very clear and nice - thank you very much!
16 - I once met Jane Fonda, and thought her skin was the softest I'd touched to that point (We shook hands.)
15 - I did not get my driver's license until I was 21 and out of college.
14 - I have partial hearing loss (not much, but some...)
13 - I met Patrick Dempsey once while he was filming on our campus - thud.
12 - If I get too hot - and I meant H-O-T, I literally get manic and panicky in a rapid burst (hasn't happened alot, but not too pretty when it does.)
11 - I did not attend my father's funeral - my best friend took me to Dairy Queen instead. (My father was an ass, and like I told my half-brother - "He did not attend my life, I am not going to attend his death.")
10 - I was once caught cheating in science - in the 3rd grade! - and it was motifying enough that I ended up graduated third in my high school class and made deans list in college, dang it!!!
9 - I still think of England in my dreams.
8 - I would like to write the book that everyone tells me I should try, but have absolutely no ideas or the current drive to attempt it.
7 - I'm a scorpio.
6 - I am closer to my mother than anyone else, which is both good and bad. But mostly great.
5 - When anyone asks me what kind of job I would "like" to have, I have no answer. I do not know what it feels like to work at a job you enjoy. What I do, I do because I have to and it was there.
4 - I once told off the director of "Roots" - yes, I did. He was being an asswhipe diva while filming another mini-series in my college library (in which I worked) and it was during finals!! So I told him his not so polite request to "remove" the students was not going to be granted - but definately not in those words, or as nicely. (He wasn't even filming at the time, just doing a walk through.)
3 - I adore drag queens.
2 - I'm great with children - they usually adore me on sight, though I have no idea why. But I don't think I'll get to have any this go around.
