"Blackout" - Screencap Sample:

Photobucket

After one heck of a long and practically news-less wait, it seems that Aidan's film "Blackout" has been sold to some European markets. In the theaters for Russia, but straight to DVD in Sweden. No news as to whether it'll be released here. Oh well...

But thanks to the Swedish DVD release - I've gotten to see the film. Alllllll 73 mins of it. (wtf???) And well... Eeeeekkkkkkk.

Look under the cut below for a few thoughts...

AND!!!! See link below for a look-see at 93 screencaps! (Don't worry, I left out most of the gruesomeness. It's a horror/thriller type movie, but he's still pretty, damn it! Gotta share the love!)

Without spoiling the bigger "surprise" plotpoints - (yeah, right) - just please know that it's a ROUGH ride. This is by FAR! - hell by frickin' miles - Aidan's most brutal role. Like in a big way, folks. He's a serious Psycho.

And alllllll that stuff they implied his character did in "Dice" - is shown in graphic detail in this movie. If you're a Horror fan, you'll be okay. If you're squeamish, you'll balk fast. So there, that's my warning.

That being said - my screencaps are specifically intended to NOT show the worst bits. You can take a look and still go eat din din...lol.

I didn't enjoy the movie. Aidan's the ONLY reason to have seen it. And even as I was watching him being - well, ewwww - I had to wonder why the hell he took the part in the first place. I can only imagine it was an eminent need for cash... :) Still, for me, it's Aidan - and that will always be reason enough for me to watch.

Enjoy the screencaps! There are a few of which that are FABULOUS. Those closeups of him framed in red light - completely THUD-worthy!!!

Yes - I sometimes wonder what attracts him to film parts.....he told me that he took this one because he wanted to be in Barcelona for a while, and he said the film was very 'commercial' by which I now assume he means will be snapped up by horror movie fans who like those teen scream things.
He seems to choose parts that are based in cities he hasn't been to but would like to go......"12 rounds" and New Orleans for example, "Shanghai knights" and Prague, "Dice" adn Montreal.....

I don't flippin' blame you! There are some others just as *sigh* as this one in the photo album. :)

Oh Aidan...your geographical tastes are the first time I've come close to understanding why you take some of these roles.

(I'm so afraid to click on the screencaps...I don't want to be tempted to watch, and I can't handle horror. Oh Aidan! When will you be consumed with the need to visit Naples for the film "Dude Looking Around"? I like those kinds of movies! Not this kind!)

Thanks for the heads up on the movie. The only kind of horror movies I can handle are the VERY old classics that occasionally make their ways to the small screen. So I won't be watching this one.

BUT I definitely WILL be dropping in from time to time to check out the screencaps. Thanks hon.
