Eroica Fic - 20 pages and counting....

Yes, that's right!!! I'm going on 20 pages on the fic of many many many a month...lol. But hey, that's fabulous - right??? lol...

I mean, every so very slowly - I'm getting it done.

And I'm perplexed as to why it's going slowly. I mean, I think it's a GOOD fic!!! Really, I'm proud of it so far...lol. It's reading well.

But real life seems to be kicking me down a bit lately - serious work issues (not mine, but some that do unfortunately affect me and what I have to help with doing) and family health issues (Mom's fine now, but here's a BIG hint - if you have High Blood Pressure - TAKE YOUR MEDS!!! Morbid nosebleeds fucking SUCK!) are luverly, aren't they? lol...

Oh well, I do write - a line, a paragraph, half a page...lol.

What's funny is that this fic has almost died twice before it even started!!! A laptop crash that caused me to lose the outline all together, thankfully I'd emailed it to someone before hand (months before, lol - but she still had it in consideration for a zine entry). Then once she'd emailed it back to me, I had a flukey email problem that wouldn't allow me to open any of the email in my inbox. So I lost it again. She emailed it back...lol. (((Thanks, B!!!)))

And since then, it's ever so slowly been progressing. I did miss the zine deadline, which was pushed up - but all things considered, that's good I guess. Pout...lol.

I'm just glad it's so close to the end. It's one of those fics that you want to read as a "reader" rather than as the "writer." You know the kind, one that you'd have liked to find in your inbox by someone else...lol, but since you didn't - you might as well write it yourself!!!

Wish me luck??? I hope many of you who don't read Eroica will cross over (since you like my other fics!!!) - and read this fic. Don't worry, I'll give you the details you need to understand to know who Dorian and Klaus are...lol. It's not a canon-complex-plot driven piece anyway. A newbie would be more than up-to-date after a few sentences of character description.

I'll definitely read it. I don't know if I'd get into Eroica, but I read a couple of the fics (the ones that weren't so mission/military speak heavy) and liked them. 20 pages? Jeezes..I dont think I can past 3 myself...LOL

i generally find that the best fics take the longest to write, and most authors i like say that writing is difficult and hard work. wish you luck, and mostly stamina to finish.

actually i am only commenting to say that i am listening to your qaf soundbites, not really hearing the voices to clearly but enjoying it nevertheless, heee, "coz of the polyester".
