The meeting of my favorite Doctors - ever! I came into DW right mid-way during Doctor Four (and will always adore the quirkiness of Tom Baker & his scarf) - but *my* Doctor, the one I got to see allll the eps for from start to finish thanks to PBS, was Doctor Five. Peter Davison...celery and all. :) Just like David Tennant!
And to see these two on screen, nipping at each other...hehe. Getting it right, and wrong at the same time - snicker. Oh it is INTENSE love, folks.
I adored it all. The insults, the observations, the way they got in those one liners and then the way it ended at the last with Ten saying Five was *his* Doctor. Awwww... Brilliant.
I'm a happy happy happy fangirl at this moment. (And how funny was it that Five thought Ten was a *gasp* FAN!!! lol...)
Favorite bits:
TEN - "What?" FIVE - "What?" TEN - "What?"
TEN - "Oh Brilliant! I mean totally wrong, big emergency, universe goes bang in five minutes, but... BRILLIANT!"
The way they explained FIVE's more mature/rounded appearance...lol.
All the celery jokes! (Fucking loved that!) TEN - "Brave choice. Not a lot of men can carry off a decorative vegetable." ((I'll give virtual moochies to anyone who can remember WHY Doctor
Five wore celery - and no fair looking it up on the internet!))
FIVE - "Skinny Idiot!" hehe...
TEN - "Ohhh, the back of my head!"
FIVE - "You've changed the desktop theme." "What's this one, coral? It's worse than the leopard skin." (Snicker, now that's one I'd like to have seen...lol.)
TEN - "The brainy specs!"
You've got to love that the level of alert was number five!
BELGUIM! hehe... FIVE - "That's a bit undramatic, isn't it?"
Ten ribbing Five by saying, "Hey, I'm the Doctor. I can save the universe using a kettle and some string. And look at me, I'm wearing a vegetable." ROTFLMAO
FIVE - "Oh no - you're..." TEN - "Yes, I am." FIVE - "You're a FAN." TEN - "I am, WHAT?"
"That LINDA lot, are you one of them?" hehehehe....
TEN - "Wibbley, wobbley." BOTH - "Timey, Whimey!"
The Master - loved that whole bit, and the part about his BEARD / WIFE! OMFG! I love the gayness of that!!!
TEN telling FIVE what traits they share - ahhhhh.
FIVE - "To days to come." TEN - "All my love to long ago."
