Sooooo, Good Morning America (ABC is owned by Disney?) – has cancelled Adam Lambert’s concert tomorrow morning.
Thereby proving that they are just as discriminating as Adam suggest they would be if they censored the performance (which they did) for the West Coast feed of the AMAs.
I say that because this morning they featured Rihanna – whose latest single is “Russian Roulette” (nice song for kiddies, that) – and who appeared on the AMAs first in a video that featured her completely oiled and naked on a table (VERY Cyberwoman from Torchwood – only LESS clothed) – covered only on the nipples and groin by metal – and then she comes out live wrapped from neck to ankles in a white bandage outfit that showed practically everything anyway. So none of that was enough to have Disney/ABC scoff - Naked, ok. Gunplay, ok. (And if it's a Chris Brown thing because she's the hot story, just remember they already featured her VERY heavily prior to this with Swayer did her interview.)
Soooo – you can be provocative sexually as a woman, but not as a man (or a GAY man, rather)…. Grrrrrr.
As if he would have done the same performance on morning television - he's specifically said he was doing a different song and vibe for the Letterman show to express a totally different energy than the FYE on the AMAs - which he would have carried through to GMA. Business minded artist that he is....

ETA - Sooo now VERY confused - GMA's website says it's cancelled.
Adam Lambert's Bass Player Tommy - the one who got kissed - just tweeted that the concert is NOT cancelled. ???
Uhm... What the heck?
ETA 2 - OMG, Sooooo Tommy just tweeted again - Yes, GMA cancelled (the *bleepers*) - BUTTTT, in a surprising move that I find f'ing hilarious - CBS' The Early Show just snatched Adam and crew right up! lol - they will be performing on The Early Show instead....
