Cough, cough....

I'm back. But not well...

The trip back home on the bus, believe it or not - was worse than the trip up. Took over 8 hours to get home - bus driver got lost (I'm not kidding) - and the bus was packed like sardines - again. Wind, rain - it wasn't fabulous. (Btw - this trip usually takes 3 1/2 hours by car - but visit every little town in creation along the way, then get lost and have bad weather = 8 hours...grrr)

To top it alllllllllll off - midway through Wednesday, first day back at work - I start coughing - big time. Gets worse and worse.

By that night - I'm a wreck. Now I have sinus problems all the time - but I haven't had the flu in ages. But darlins - this is the damn flu. Complete with horrid digestion, can't keep food down, fever, coughing til my body feels like it's been kicked repeatedly. And glory be - it's all centered in my chest.

Days of this - missed work both Thursday and Friday. Which is bad, because they were short staffed and needed me - and looks great since I just got back from vacation, right? Sighhhh...

I'm still sick now, though better. Fever's almost gone, I can breathe better but I'm sore and still coughing. Basically, I feel like crap.
