Ok - best laid plans....damn it.
What does my mother decide to do today? Take down every fucking drape in the living room, wash, dry and rehang them. By her self......... Awwwwwwwwww!!!
This is a problem because she's disabled. So what does that mean? It means I have to stop what I'm doing to rescue her/them. Anddddddddd - I have to do the rehanging myself.
When was the last time you washed and rehung your own drapes? It's a BITCH!!!!
Sighhh.... And we're not done yet. There's still a whole window to do when the next batch dries. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy???
Why today??? And why didn't she just ask me for help or let me know she was doing that before she almost ripped her arms off and got caught with the rod half hung on its hook?
Sigh.... We'll continue to see what happens today. As for the fic... Well, I had reread what I'd writen, got right to the point where I could possibly try to write and that's when I heard the "Come help me"..... Grrrr. Now I'm going to have to work to get to the place I was with the fic - i.e. wanting to write.
