So San Francisco gets the December previews, then NYC gets previews in March and then it premieres in April.
Should be interesting.
Oh a side note....ggggggggggggggggggrrrrrrrr.
A few weeks ago, I was sick. And I mean SICK. Had an allergic reaction to I know not what (still don't) - which had me looking like a plague victim and itching out of my mind for three days - and included two visits to the ER in a 24hr period, two follow up visits to an allergist (who I have to go back to in two weeks so I can play pin-cushion and try and solve the "what is xof allergic to" mystery)... AND which had me on count them - FIVE - medications in a 72hr period, three of which I was later told were dangerous and I shouldn't have been given.
Soooo, I'm better. No more hives or itching. That's great.
What's not great is that I just got the cost breakdown from my insurance plan. Not counting meds (which cost me over $100 or the co-pay from the Allergist) - the ER visits cost around $1,100.00. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled that I have insurance to help (which paid for about half), and I'm thrilled that I will be able to pay along as I can, a little each month - but what I'm not thrilled about is that a) I got sick and don't know why after that much money and b) that I cost myself (and through me, my family since I pay the bills) that much money period.
I know, I'm whinging about something that in the scheme of things is small. But fuck - it's not a good feeling. It's something I can handle, and I'll take care of it - but the timing sucks - as always.
Of course, there's never a good time for this sort of thing. Sighhhhh....
Sorry to sound blahhhh... And hey, the musical news was great! (I remain hopefully, afterall - it's based on the first two books and as a rule, I usually enjoy Elton's music.)
Hugs
xof
